Shopping abounds with a Macy's store on property and the International Marketplace and Duke's Lane on either side of the hotel. The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center is just across the street. The OHANA Waikiki Beachcomber is also home to the "Magic of Polynesia" in the showcase showroom.

Improvements to the hotel's lobby have begun, and additional upgrades to the Porte Cochere area will begin in late spring. Please be advised the pool at the Beachcomber will close for renovation August 1 and reopen on November 1, 2008. Guests may use the pool at the Ohana East or Ohana Waikiki West. All rooms were completely refurbished in 2008.
