The Outrigger Reef has completed the $110 million top-to-bottom transformation that included rebuilding of all guest rooms, reception, and common areas. The all-new Ocean Tower opens with 200 rooms and suites, casually sophisticated and much more spacious. - Renovation: The property has completed the first phase of a $110 million top-to-bottom transformation. Ocean tower guest rooms, lobby and front desk are now completed. Work on the Porte Cochere is underway to be completed Fall 2008. There may be some intermittent noise depending on the type of work being done. The Pacific Tower is currently being rebuilt. Approximately half of the Pacific Tower rooms will be available beginning September 1, 2008 with the full inventory returning by the first quarter of 2009. Work will be confined within the Pacific Tower and guestrooms in this tower will not be occupied during the redevelopment. During this phase, access to Waikiki Beach and dining at the beachfront Ocean House and Shorebird Restaurant & Beach Bar will be available.
