Get To Know The Islands
Outrigger's new Island Explorer program is designed to get parents and children out discovering Hawaii's unique natural environment. From the seashore to the mountains, our islands are teaming with living wonders, from exotic reef fish to native plants, insects and birds. We don't want you to miss a thing on your Hawaiian vacation!
We'll show you how to conduct ecologically-safe explorations. Learn how to determine wind directions, check tide changes and surf conditions, read cloud formations, and identify the myriad of nature's gifts that wash up along the shoreline. Learn how to prepare for a hike, chart a map, and recognize the many friendly critters that make their home in Hawaiian rainforests. There's more to sun, sand, flora and fauna than you might imagine!

Children's
Program
|
Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation has a special arrangement with Sheraton and offers their children's program to guests at a preferred rate. Their program is run by Kama'aina Kids, the same company operating the Outrigger keiki program in Waikiki. By joining forces with Sheraton, the hotel is able to offer a year-round program! The Sheraton is immediately next door - a very short walk.
Rates are per child:
Full Day: $45 includes lunch, 9am - 4pm
Half Day: $25 without lunch, 9am - 12 noon OR 1pm - 4pm
Half Day: $30 including lunch, 9am - 1pm OR 12 noon - 4pm
The program is offered Monday thru Friday. During summer Monday thru Saturday. Holidays vary, call for availability.
Children ages 4 to 12 years on a space available basis, first come, first served. (Ratio of 1 coordinator per 8 children). Guests pay the Sheraton directly when they drop off their children. Guests should show their Outrigger Kiahuna ID card. Children between the ages of 3-4 years old will be taken for half days until 1pm. Children must be potty trained. |
