- Renovation: On May 1, 2008 the property will begin repair work on cosmetic damage caused by the October 2006 earthquake. The work will take place from 7am - 3pm, with quite work taking place from 7am - 9am. The specific areas affected are the main lobby, the 7th floor Reef Lounge and the 5th floor Ocean Terrace. While the Ocean Terrace is closed breakfast will be relocated to the oceanfront Coast Grille Restaurant. They anticipate work to be completed by August 31, 2008. During this time the resort will be offering a $35 daily per room resort credit and a certificate vaild for one (1) night accommodations valid on a future stay.
